APPLICATION: A silane/siloxane base impregnator of excellent stability against alkali, dirt and water, frost damage and efflorescence. For all interior and exterior, honed and textured, mineral and ceramic surfaces. HMK^R S 31 is an invisible below surface seal, 100% vapor permeable, UV resistant, and leaves a totally natural appearance.

DIRECTIONS: Apply to chemically clean and dry surface with a natural bristle brush or Z 170 - 171 Sealing Brushes. One or two thin and even applications, wet on wet, are usually sufficient. Allow 5-10 minutes between each application for penetration. Thoroughly remove excess S 31 15-30 minutes after application with white terry cloth; add pure solvent or R 99 Stripper/Thinner if necessary to facilitate the excess removal. Do not allow S 31 to dry on polished surfaces, since once cured. S 31 may need mechanical removal. While curing, protect treated surface against water and rain to avoid discoloration.

COVERAGE: 3-6 mē/liter
WARNING: Contains Turpentine Substitute. Flammable. Keep away from heat, sparks, and flame. Harmful or fatal if swallowed or inhaled. Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid eye/skin contact, breathing vapor or mist. If exposed, wash/flush with water. Get medical attention. Keep container closed and away from children. See Material Safety Data Sheet.
TESTING: Perform testing on installed surface to determine several factors: number of coats necessary to achieve proper protection; visual appearance after application: protection against water and dirt infiltration.
